How a Choose-a-thon Fundraiser Event Works
We have the perfect online resource for you if you want to hold a fundraising event such as a walk-a-thon. Typically walk-a-thons and other events are run manually on a local basis. Choose-a-thon opens up the entire world for potential donors. Here are the easy steps involved with getting your walk a thon or other fundraising event started.
Plan Your Fundraising Event.
Determine what type of fundraiser event you will be holding. Remember, Choose-a-thon does not plan your walk-a-thon or other event. It simply offers an online resource for administrative and marketing functions.
Choose the dates for your fundraiser event and write down a list of participants you would like to invite to actually participate in your fundraiser.
Start Your Fundraiser.
We want your Choose-a-thon to be simple start to finish so we have tried to make the purchasing process as easy as possible. There are three options to order start you fundraiser:
Finalize Your Walk-a-thon
When your event is complete you will need to go back to the sub domain you created on the Choose-a-thon website. You first want to enter the number of units each participant completed. After entering the results your sponsors will be sent bills for unpaid pledges. You will also need to finalize your event. Follow the instructions to do that.
