After the Adoption Funding

Running an Adoption Fundraiser can be a stressful endeavor. On top of all the paperwork, and waiting you also have to constantly work at raising money with different Fundraisers. Luckily, your family and friends are there to support you through the entire process.

When all the Fundraising is complete, be sure to let them know how much you appreciate their support. Invite everyone over for a thank you dinner. You can have a simple dinner party, or show them how thankful you are for their participation in each specific fundraiser.

If you did a Cookie Dough Fundraiser, have a cookie party. Send out invitations that say, "We would have crumbled without you." On the inside tell them about the party and how much you appreciate their cookie dough purchase. At the actual party you can serve cookies for dessert and send everyone home with their own batch of goodies.

If you did a flower blub fundraiser, consider having a garden party to introduce your friends and family to your newest family addition. The invitation can read, "Thanks to you, our family is in full bloom!" Give each person a watering can to take home. Over the next several months send them letters or cards with pictures of your child with cute sayings – Growing like a Weed; See How our Garden Grows.

Whatever type of adoption Fundraising Ideas you used to raise money, make sure you remember to show your gratitude to those around you who got you through the tough times.
