Frozen Cookie Dough Fundraising: Yes or No

If you live near kids the odds are one of them has asked if you'd buy a tub or two to support their frozen Cookie Dough Fundraiser. But is frozen cookie dough the best fundraising idea?

There are 3 or 4 good options to consider now that you have decided on your fundraiser. Do you want to sell frozen cookie dough? If you do, then do you want to sell tubs or boxes of preportioned cookie dough? Typically tubs sell for less than boxes but the ease of the preportioned can help sales. Either way, though, you will need to be prepared to accept a frozen shipment which can make for a stressful delivery day.

There are two other options that you might consider:

1. Home Delivery Cookie Dough: This is a new fundraising concept. You will still sell tubs of cookie dough but instead of delivering the tubs yourself you will give each of your customers an E Coupon that they can redeem online for a tub of cookie dough that gets sent directly to their home or office. Your customer can use the coupon for any flavor of cookie dough they choose.

2. Dry Cookie Dough Mix: This is another great option. This product does not require any refrigeration. It comes shipped in traditional tubs so it feels like a frozen cookie dough fundraiser. Your customer adds eggs and butter and the mix is ready to be cooked. By using this option you do not need a frenzied delivery day where the dough all needs to get to the customer that same day.

So, as you can see, there are lots of options in addition to a frozen Cookie Dough Fundraising campaign.
