Getting Started on the Right Foot with Your Sports Club Fundraiser

If you have been put in charge of your sports club's fundraiser this year, then you must surely be anxious to learn just how much money you can make, and how long it will take you to make it. You also want the team to enjoy the sports fundraiser you choose for them, so that they'll be sure to be as motivated as possible about promoting it. But it can be difficult to know where to start, if you want to choose a Sports Club Fundraiser that is both fun and profitable for your team.

Really, there is no single correct way to go about the sports club fundraiser process - you just need to use a little common sense. There are a lot of Fundraising ideas out there that can work well for you, as long as you keep a few things in mind while you are in the planning stages of your fundraiser. The size of your group is important, as is the amount you want to raise. If you're managing a small group, then you'll want to go for a sports club fundraiser that has high profits, and you'll want to steer clear of a fundraiser where the minimums are higher than you're comfortable with, or where the shipping charges would cut into your profits significantly.

You also need to keep in mind what your intended customer base will be when you are organizing a sports club fundraiser. If you have been thinking about something like a candy bar fundraiser, for example, that sort of idea will work really well with a younger sports club where the customers will most likely be school children that the team will be selling to during lunch periods. If your customers will be older people, however, you'd probably be better off with something like a catalogue fundraiser, or maybe something like Scratch Cards.
