What is a scratch card?
A scratch card is a card that features 50 dots. Under each dot is a monetary value between $0.50 and $3.00. You purchase one card for each team member. That person goes to 25 different people and asks each one to scratch off two dots then donate the added amount to the team. The most that anyone will be donating is $6, and in return for participating they receive a coupon sheet that is provided when you buy the cards initially. Each card raises $100 when all the dots have been used.
