I believe the top criteria is actually determined after the cookie dough fundraiser is completed and you know how many tubs you have sold. In my opinion sales and profits are always the most logical way to judge fundraising products. But is that really the best fundraising cookie dough?
The other criteria you could use is taste or flavor. While that is important I will suggest that taste is arbitrary. You can have 5 people taste test different cookie dough and get different opinions from all 5 people. I would also suggest that in a blind taste test the results would be even more varied.
But good flavor alone is not enough. If I offered you the best cookie dough in the world but you had to sell it for $35 a tub you probably would not sell much.
Which brings us to a more important criteria. I believe that price points now have a huge bearing on which product is the best fundraising cookie dough. Prices of cookie dough tubs have steadily increased over the years and now some brands that sold for $10 just a few years ago now sell for $14. That is not a fundraising friendly price point.
The bottom line, then, is that the best fundraising cookie dough is the cookie dough you can sell the most of. Choose a brand with the following attributes and you should have great success:
1. Good flavor
2. Good selection
3. Good price point
