Mission Trip Fundraising - Overview
Mission trip fundraising is very important to the ministry. Some missionaries are fortunate enough to have the full support of their congregation to pay for their entire trip. Not everyone is as fortunate and leaves them asking “who will fund missionaries?” Most missionaries turn to fundraising for mission trips to help offset their costs of spreading the word.
Luckily, those who are lead to the mission field are very determined to complete their mission. The hardest part of mission trip fundraisers is choosing the best product to sell. They will sell and sell until enough money is raised for them to go on the trip.
If you have added new missionaries to your group, there is no better way to get them comfortable talking with people than fundraising. This is the one fundraiser where going door to door selling is actually beneficial. This turns out to be a great practice for new missionaries.
We have looked all around and found some ideas for mission fundraising that we believe will tremendously help you.
