What is the best way to handle a league fundraiser?
One way to handle league fund raising is to raise your registration cost by the amount you want each person to raise. For example, if you were holding a candy fundraiser and each carrier of candy raised $52, you would charge each player the extra $52 up front. The player is given the candy and can choose to sell it to recover the fee paid or simply eat the candy if they want. That way you do not risk losing the league’s investment and you have your money right away!
When do I pay for a league fundraiser?
Orders need to be paid for before they are shipped. We accept Visa, MasterCard, checks or money orders. We also offer a credit card guarantee program where you run a card, but do not charge it for 30 days. That way, your league has some time to get the product and start selling before you have to pay for it.
How long should our league fundraising sale last?
We suggest that your little league fundraising sale last for a period of around two weeks. If your sale is longer is takes away the sense of urgency and if its any shorter it does not give enough time to reach all of your target donors.
