Private School Fundraising - Overview
Private school fundraisers are very common. Without public funding, fundraising for private schools is a necessity that enables the school to provide services not covered by tuition.
Just about all private schools are expensive to attend. Having a private school fund raiser will help the parents with the high cost of tuition, not to mention the cost of uniforms and other supplies needed that are not provided by the school.
People just don’t realize how costly it is to run a private school. Operating the facility itself is expensive including maintenance, utilities and other operating expenses. While the majority should be covered by tuition, some costs are paid for with private school fund raising events.

Blue Ribbon Individual Portion Cookie DoughBlue Ribbon Individual Portion Cookie Dough is one of the top private school wholesale fund raising items. There are 11 different flavors to choose from as well as a delicious Dutch Chocolate Brownie Batter. The students sell the cookie dough for $12 to $14, depending on the flavor. The school will enjoy the fact that with a minimum order of 336 tubs the cookie dough will arrive at the school already separated by student. This is a big relief for the parent volunteers that would typically sort the cookie dough by student. |

Private School Coffee FundraiserGourmet Coffee is another one of our suggested private school fundraisers. Our Private school coffee fundraiser comes in one pound vacuum sealed foil bags. The coffee is sold for $10 and the private school makes 40% profit! There are seven great flavors to choose from as well as a designer coffee tin containing four smaller bags of the best selling flavors. |

Auntie Annes Pretzel FundraisingAuntie Anne Private school fund raising has never been so exciting. The great pretzels that you are used to purchasing in your local mall are now offered as a Antie Annes Pretzels private school fund raiser. There are two options to go with, either frozen or dry mix. The Dry Mix is for smaller private schools. This is because there is only a one case (12 item) minimum. It consists of all the ingredients needed to make Cinnamon Buns or Pretzels. The frozen program has the two dry mixes plus frozen pretzels, Pizza Knots, and Gourmet Bread Sticks. |
Do you extend credit to private schools?
No, we do not give private schools credit. However we do have an option called a credit card guarantee where we will put a hold on a credit card (MC or Visa) and the card will not be charged for 30 days. This will allow the private school to conduct the fundraiser before the money is due. If that is not an option, our recommendation would be to have a private school fund raiser that is a presale, such as cookie dough, candles, coffee or Auntie Anne's Pretzels.
When is the best time for private schools to do fundraisers?
We find that sales are increased with fundraisers that are held in the fall. Many items that are sold work great for gifts for the holidays and many potential buyers take purchase for that reason alone.
How would you suggest doing incentives for the students?
Our recommendation is to reward based on participation and not on the top seller. A good idea would be to take a portion of the profit and purchase prizes for the students.
Can private school clubs have their own fundraiser?
That is perfectly fine. We are here to help any group, big or small, with their fundraising needs and have great ideas for everyone.
