When you are Fundraising with a group or working with a large fundraising team, you have a lot of advantages.  Sure, the number of people involved usually means that the monetary goals are higher, but also it's nice to have the support of your peers, who are all in the same boat with you, and sharing in the burden.  Fundraising for individuals is a totally different game - because it's just you on your own, you have to come up with your own ways to stay focused and positive, as you don't have the safety net of letting others take up the slack.

Individual Fundraising can be stressful, to say the least.  Here you are, all on your own, trying to do the best you can to raise money for charity, or medical bills, or just to help out someone in need.  All the responsibilities are on your shoulders, and all the anxieties are yours to bear.  But you have to think about it this way: at the same time, even though there are all these difficulties, all the victories are yours, as well.  As your Fundraiser builds momentum and starts to be successful, you can rest in the knowledge that you have done a fantastic thing for the cause you're working for, and this is what you have to focus on when you're fundraising for individuals.

The road you are heading down is a noble one, and you must always remember that.  Your effort fundraising is something most people wouldn't even bother to attempt, and your are a strong person for taking this challenge on.  Remember your goal at all times, and know that no matter how much you raise fundraising for individuals, you have made a positive difference in the lives of others, and that is certainly something to be proud of.  So hold your head high and remember exactly why you're doing this - that can help a lot toward keeping the anxieties at bay.
