High school band is one of the best extracurricular activities out there. Aside from music skills, kids learn discipline, self-confidence, and teamwork. But the state of school funding in the current economic situation means that band booster Fundraisers are going to be necessary for most school bands, as the schools themselves cannot take up all the slack. No matter how big or small your school's band is, they will rely at least somewhat on the band booster club for help, and booster club fundraisers can make the difference between whether or not the band can continue performing and competing as normal.

When you're organizing band fundraisers, firstly you need to have a meeting to discuss your goals and targets. What exactly do you need money for, and how much? Have you taken into account all the expenses, even incidental things?
